Computers with complete verified data
The table on the Computers with complete verified data page shows the following information:
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Computer name | The name of the computer with inventoried data. Select the arrow to the left of the computer name to expand the table row. Information about the inventoried products is shown in separate tables for Databases, Middleware, and Java, respectively, in the expanded row view. See the following sections for descriptions of the information shown in each table. |
Last scanned | The date when the computer was last scanned successfully by Snow Inventory Oracle Hardware Scanner (SIOHS). |
Computers with complete verified data/Databases
The Databases table for an inventoried computer shows the following information:
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Database name | The database name for the inventoried Oracle Database product. |
Instance name | The instance name for the inventoried Oracle Database product. |
Database edition | The Oracle Database edition. |
Assigned database license | The license that will be assigned for the respective database license requirement. The value is mandatory for generating the output file for Oracle Database products. You can edit the value by selecting Edit. |
Metric | The metric type: Processor or Named User Plus. The value is mandatory for generating the output file for Oracle Database products. You can edit the value by selecting Edit. |
Environment | The intended type of use for the environment, for example, Prod, Dev, or QA. The value is mandatory for generating the output file for Oracle Database products. You can edit the value by selecting Edit. |
Last scanned | The date when the computer was last scanned successfully by Snow Inventory Oracle Scanner (SIOS). |
Edit | Select the Edit icon to edit database instance properties. |
Computers with complete verified data/Middleware
The Middleware table for an inventoried computer shows the following information:
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Recognized products | All recognized Oracle Fusion Middleware products on the environment. If no Oracle Fusion Middleware products have been recognized, the column will be empty. |
Environment | The intended type of use for the environment, for example, Prod, Dev, or QA. The value is mandatory for generating the output file for Oracle Middleware products. You can edit the value by selecting Edit. |
Last scanned | The date when the computer was last scanned successfully by Snow Inventory Oracle Middleware Scanner (SIOMS). |
Anonymization | Select the Show details icon to see the details for all files and values that will be anonymized by the SIOMS configuration file. The SIOMS configuration file is included in the installation package. |
Edit | Select the Edit icon to edit the Environment property. |
Computers with complete verified data/Java
The Java table for an inventoried computer shows the following information:
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Version | The Release/Version/Build for the Java installation. |
Machine type | The type of inventoried environment: Server or Desktop. |
Environment | The intended type of use for the environment, for example, Prod, Dev, or QA. The value is mandatory for generating the output file for Oracle Java products. You can edit the value by selecting Edit. |
Open source | A selected checkbox indicates that the Java installation is an Open Source distribution. |
Part of other product | A selected checkbox indicates that the Java installation is included in another Oracle product license. The checkbox is cleared by default since the information is not provided by Snow License Manager. You can edit the information by selecting Edit. |
Used with OCI | A selected checkbox indicates that the Java installation is included in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) subscription. The checkbox is cleared by default since the information is not provided by Snow License Manager. You can edit the information by selecting Edit. |
Support required | A selected checkbox indicates that Oracle Support has been requested for the Java installation. The checkbox is cleared by default since the information is not provided by Snow License Manager. You can edit the information by selecting Edit. |
OTN | A selected checkbox indicates that the Java installation is connected to an Oracle Technology Network (OTN) license agreement. The checkbox is cleared by default since the information is not provided by Snow License Manager. You can edit the information by selecting Edit. |
BCL | A selected checkbox indicates that the Java installation is connected to an Oracle Binary Code License (BCL) development license grant. The checkbox is cleared by default since the information is not provided by Snow License Manager. You can edit the information by selecting Edit. |
NFTC | A selected checkbox indicates that the Java installation is connected to an Oracle No-Fee Terms and Conditions (NFTC) agreement. The checkbox is cleared by default since the information is not provided by Snow License Manager. You can edit the information by selecting Edit. |
BLRA | A selected checkbox indicates that the Java installation is connected to a Binary License and Redistribution Agreement (BLRA). The checkbox is cleared by default since the information is not provided by Snow License Manager. You can edit the information by selecting Edit. |
Last scanned | The date when the computer was last scanned successfully by Snow Inventory Oracle Java Scanner (SIJS). |
Edit | Select the Edit icon to edit Java properties. |
Computers with incomplete verified data
The table on the Computers with incomplete verified data page shows the following information:
Column name | Description |
---|---|
Computer name | The name of the computer with Oracle products (Oracle Databases, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Java SE) that has been inventoried with issues. |
Last scanned | The date when the computer was last scanned. |
Reasons | A description of why the data is categorized as incomplete. |
Recommendations | A description of recommended actions to resolve the issue. |
Details | Select the Show details icon to see reasons and recommendation details, including log data. |
