Manage Oracle agreements
Learn how to manage your Oracle agreements in Snow License Manager.
View Oracle agreements

On the Enterprise menu, select Oracle overview and then select the Entitlements tab.

Select the Agreements view.
All your Oracle agreements that have been added to Snow License Manager are shown in the table. An arrow to the left of the agreement name indicates that the agreement has one or more sub-agreements. Select the arrow to show the sub-agreements.

To see the details of a specific agreement, select the agreement from the list.
Add Oracle agreements
To register information about an Oracle agreement:

On the Enterprise menu, select Oracle overview and then select the Entitlements tab.

On the Agreements view, select Add agreement and enter information in the fields of each section as described below. For field descriptions, see Add agreement: Reference.

In the General section, enter general information about the agreement, such as agreement number and name, and if the agreement supports upgrade rights.

In the Agreement periods section, select Add new period and enter the dates from when the agreement is valid and when it ends, and then select Save.

In the Contact information section, enter contact information for the manufacturer or reseller and the agreement owner in your organization.

Optional: In the Alerts section, configure alerts for the agreement.
Alerts appear on the Home and Overview pages to notify that the expiry date of the agreement is approaching. The default value is 90 days.

Optional: In the Documents section, add documents or links containing information related to the agreement:

Select Add new document.

Do one of the following:

To add a document, select Upload, select Choose file and browse for the file.

To add a link, select Link to file and in Link to file, enter the link.

In Title, enter a name for the document or link.

Optionally, in Description, enter a summary of the contents of the document or linked information.

Select Save.

In the Custom information section, enter values in the custom fields configured as mandatory for Oracle agreements, if any.

Optional: In the Custom information section, add more custom fields: In Custom fields, select the field you want to add, select Add, and then enter or select a Value for the field.
Alternatively, if you want to add all available custom fields, select Add all instead of Add.

Select Save in the upper-right corner of the page to save all your entered agreement information.
The new agreement is listed in the table on the Agreements view.
Edit Oracle agreements

On the Enterprise menu, select Oracle overview and then select the Entitlements tab.

On the Agreements view, select the agreement you want to edit from the list, and then select Edit agreement.

Add or edit the applicable information in the fields of each section. For field descriptions, see Add agreement: Reference.

Select Save.
Connect Oracle master and sub-agreement
There are two ways of connecting a master agreement to a sub-agreement:

Via the master agreement: If the sub-agreement has not yet been added to Snow License Manager, you can add the sub-agreement via the master agreement and create the connection at the same time.

Via the sub-agreement: If the sub-agreement has already been added to Snow License Manager, you must make the connection via the sub-agreement.

Do one of the following:

To connect via the master agreement:

On the Enterprise menu, select Oracle overview and then select the Entitlements tab.

On the Agreements view, select the agreement that you want to use as master agreement from the list.

Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Add sub-agreement.

Enter information about the sub-agreement. See Add Oracle agreements for instructions on how to add an agreement.

To connect via the sub-agreement:

On the Enterprise menu, select Oracle overview and then select the Entitlements tab.

On the Agreements view, select the agreement that you want to use as sub-agreement from the list.

Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Attach to master.

In the Attach to master dialog, select the name of the master agreement, and then select OK.

When the agreements are connected, the sub-agreement is listed directly underneath the master agreement in the list of Oracle agreements. An arrow to the left of the agreement name indicates that the agreement has one or more sub-agreements.
Detach sub-agreement from master agreement

On the Enterprise menu, select Oracle overview and then select the Entitlements tab.

On the Agreements view, select the sub-agreement that you want to detach from its master from the list.

Select the three dots in the upper-right corner of the page and then select Detach from master.

Select OK to confirm.
Delete Oracle agreements

On the Enterprise menu, select Oracle overview and then select the Entitlements tab.

On the Agreements view, select the agreement you want to delete from the list, and then select Edit agreement.

Select Delete, and in then select OK to confirm.
